About Britt

Founder of Swell Press. Creative director. Printmaker. Multi–million dollar business owner.

I didn’t start Swell Press with a business plan, outside funding, or a pristine studio.
I started in my garage — literally. A hobby, a press, and a love for the craft.

I made the leap to full-time long before I “felt ready,” and I figured out every step the same way most creatives do: by doing it wrong first, learning quickly, and fighting through a lot of late nights, tears, and trial-and-error.

Back then, there was no roadmap for stationers.
No mentor.
No mastermind.
No community that actually understood the level of work I wanted to create.
Anything that existed felt too broad, too basic, or simply not built for someone who wanted to play bigger.

So I built it myself.

Over the last decade, I’ve grown Swell Press from a garage hobby into a debt-free, multi-million dollar stationery and printing studio — the kind of business I once dreamed about but had no idea how to create. I’ve worked at every single tier of the wedding industry, from budget brides to collaborating with some of the top planners in the world.

I’ve been the beginner, the overwhelmed hustler, the under-priced designer, the burnt-out operator, the creative who wanted to grow but had no idea how.
I’ve also been the expert, the strategic leader, the well-paid professional, and the business owner who gets to call the shots in my life — not the other way around.

And somewhere along that journey, I realized something important:
women deserve to create profitable, powerful, financially free businesses without burning out or playing small.

That is why High Tide exists.
Because I’m passionate about giving stationers what I never had:
real strategy, real support, an inner circle that gets it, and a roadmap designed for creatives who want MORE.

If you’re here because you’re talented, ambitious, and ready for your work — and your business — to rise to the level you know it can?
You’re in the right place.
And I’m here to help you get there.
